Running around getting ready for my birthday we set off to rotorua😄. 2 hours later. We had been in the car for what felt like weeks and we had only made it about half way. “Are we nearly their?” Sean asked as I started to play some funky karts. Half an hour later. I Ko’d Aka fell asleep for 10 minutes according to my chromebooks clock. When I woke up we had made it to some roadworks that held us up another half an hour. Finally we made it through the longest traffic jam in the whole galaxy and entered Rotorua😄.
We made it into Rotorua and then spent another 10 minutes chasing my Mum and Dad. Finally we stopped at a gas station and found out that we were looking for a fish and chips. Eventually we found a fish and chips to get some food. The menu was massive and had everything from fish all the way to deep fried mars bars. I asked if I could have the mars bar but my mum started going on and on about how I’d spew on the skyswing. In the end we just got hot chips and waited and waited and waited. Once the chips were fried we left to the mud pools to eat our lunch and have a look at them. Hopping back in the car we left to the mud pools. Once we had arrived we ate and saw big mud pools, small mud pools, steep mud pools, shallow mud pools and a humongous mud pool that had a bridge with many people walking across except me, I was jumping and pretending to break it and scaring my mum. We crossed the bridge and started to head off to do the skyswing. Another 10 minutes of driving and we had made to the car park and could already hear the gondolas right next to us.
Unpacking my GoPro and some other stuff we began to enter the building. Once inside all you hear were gondolas and all you could see was a massive line to get tickets and drum roll please an empty line. We obviously took the empty line and caught a gondola. Sitting down we admired the amazing, beautiful, extraordinary view with the occasional biker on the BMX track and some people on the luge. Once we exited the gondola we grouped up and decided to go to the sky swing first. Waddle, waddle, waddle as we walked to the sky swing. Me the kid about to go 150 kmh over a cliff by myself, I made an excuse to go to the toilet. Running to the toilets I contemplated whether I still wanted to do it. I started coming back to the group and my dad said “You’re a BURGISS so get on that swing now!!!!!!!!!!!” Hopping on the swing my nervousness level raised to %110 and I was seatbelted in. The lady said “just tell me when you're to be raised and I said “now.” I was being raised so there was no going back. I had reached the top and now my nervous level was %10000*00#*%((%. All that was left was to pull the cord and fail why didn't it work and then… “AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” I was going 150 kmh over a cliff by myself and didn't even know if my GoPro was on. Finally I had started slowing down but a massive magnet flipped me upside down. I hopped of and head off to the luge. We didn't’t actually go to the luge but got some drinks and Max was playing on the sand diggers trying to scoop Tyler out of the pit. Now we finally went to the luge all went on the scenic track except Jakob my cousin who went on the intermediate. The track had dinosaurs and tons of trees. Next was the Intermidiate which was just more trees and you could go a bit faster (I done this one 3 times) and lastly the advanced track which had 2 jumps. Once you finish any of the tracks you go up some chair lifts just like the benchs you see at the park just with a back and a rail across the front. The luge carts also get attatched to hooks on the bottom. We started to pack up and leave until I remembered something, there was a jelly belly store at the exit so we had a go at the bean boozled and I got baby wipes, barf and peach. We also got 2 jelly belly bags ($1 each) with mine containing icecream parlour and spoiled milk to make my own bean boozled for at home. Finally we had left and I could easily tell that, that was gonna be the best day of the holidays and my whole life.
