Fast food should NOT be free

Fast food should NOT be free

“Make fast food free please” is something most people would say but NOO, FAST FOOD SHOULD
NOT BE FREE.  I’m writing this right now to say why we should have fast food for free.

Fatness
Fast food and overeating, one of the main causes for obesity.  Picture this a world where you can
practically get free food, unhealthy free food.  If we had free fast food then the world would be obese
as heck. The average weight of a standard adult is 62kgs and if we had “free food” then that weight
would probably average 90kgs.

Payment
Minimum wage, yep.  Free fast food would leave many issues for payment.  Currently fast food
workers get an average of $13.20 per hour and also get one of the lowest paying jobs out there.
If for some reason fast food was free then workers would end up unable to make money. After free fast
food many workers would quit due to lack of payment.

Queuing
Lines, any normal person's nightmare.  Queuing kohua (sucks) like say you're waiting for free fast food,
just imagine that line it would be out the door around the block.  Currently fast food doesn’t take that long
except for the length of time it takes to cook and prepare the food. Now that you’ve got the free food
queues will SUCK.

Conclusion

Now I think we can agree that FAST FOOD SHOULD NOT BE FREE!!!  Now even if they do have free
fast food it would be the most impractical thing in fast food actually human history.

Paper plane test

Paper plane test

This test was the paper plane test where we took an average paper plane and attached a balloon to the top.  We took some trials to see what would happen with different designs.

Hypothesis
My thoughts of this test were the plane would take pickup height if the balloon was at the front and vise versa.

Materials
Paper plane
Tape
Balloon

Procedure
  1. Make a standard paper plane.
  2. After concluding these instructions add a tape loop to the top of the plane making sure it is double sided (sticky part on the outside).
  3. Finally apply an inflated balloon to the upper side of the tape making sure the balloon is held shut.
  4. Let er fly.

Results
Our trials led to many results and challenged my hypothesis hugely.  I thought the higher of the strength would be lower quality which was completely wrong.  After trialing I found out the higher strength meant the more chance of fetching lift and weaker equaled it to cut height.  The test went the exact opposite of my original thought. My reasoning was the lighter throw would cause wind to lift or do something with it.  The heavier throw would cut through the wind and go down which was WRONG!!

Conclusion

After concluding this test we found out the reasoning of the plane flying is because the balloons air is being rapidly thrown from the balloon propelling the plane forwards.  Overall this trial was fun and had amazing results.

Dear Kakas
Kia ora
My name is Riley Burgiss.  I am writing to tell you how wonderful it really is here in Aotearoa.

I really hope you have a good time here in Aotearoa.  There are many special things about New Zealand like the rich earth and green grass.  We also have a special bird native to our specific country. It is the Kiwi. It is a nocturnal flightless bird that has nostrils at the end of their beaks.  They also lay eggs ⅓ the size of their body weight.

We have beautiful sceneries in New Zealand take for example Rotorua's giant boiling mud pools.  If you fell in the mud would dissolve your skin into nothingness. There is also a story that goes as a guy was in a police chase.  He was sprinting straight down to the huge pool onto the bridge and committed suicide. He jumped the railing into the pools and no one ever found the body, well at least what my dad said.  But there are other places like sunrise hut up at Ruahine Ranges. I and room 14 / 15, 16 / 17, 18 / 19 conquered the mountain with amazing views.

Around here in New Zealand, we love rugby, soccer, cricket, T ball, pretty much all sports.  Some of our kiwi favourites are hokey pokey which is vanilla ice cream with crunchy lollies. We also like mixes from the dairy and just a classic fish and chips.

Kia ora, tēna koā and many others are greetings we use to invite other cultures.  In school, we do performances that are representing other countries like in week 5 term 2. Me, and the year 6 boys celebrated Samoan language week with a sasa based on the triple A’s.

Anyway, welcome to Aotearoa.  You're gonna fit right in with everyone else.  Hope you have a good stay.

Kind regards

Riley Burgiss
