Dear new year 5 student,
Kia ora, I am Riley Burgiss and I am here to welcome you to room 14/15. I know you are probably scared to be coming to the best class in the galaxy but you should have no worries, in fact you should be excited and trust me, I have had a great year and are looking forward to meeting you and all the other new seniors.
Starting off as a Senior you will need to be really responsible and encouraging. On your first day of the year I recommend bringing a pencil, an eraser, a ruler, some pens, a glue stick and your books. Show grit and work towards your goals, working collaboratively when needed to and do your best job. These are just a few things you’ll need to do to be succesful in this class. And just one last thing you will be writing stuff this quality and higher.
Another thing you`ll need to know when you’re in this class is how everything rolls. We start our day by getting a plan and filling it out for what we do today at the same as the roll. Next we leave the mat and get our stuff for the day and begin working. The day just continues normally for the rest of the day unless you're new which you should learn how the day goes pretty quickly. Our usual things to complete throughout the week are Writing, Math and a reading task for our group.
Lastly I think that you will catch onto everything we do pretty quickly and enjoyably.
